while i'm off gallivanting across the country, rebecca from revkah is taking over for the day with a fun use for paint sample that i'm sure you'll love! take it away, rebecca!
Hey everyone, I'm Rebecca from REVKAH and I'm here as a guest blogger whilst Carlia is on her jollys for two weeks. So, a big thank you to her for allowing me to guest blog for her!
I was wondering: Are you guilty of carelessly throwing all of your necklaces, rings, bracelets and jewels into a lifeless box, placed without thought on your shelf? I am. Or I was.
Wandering around our local hardware store in hopes of finding paint for my redecorating of my bedroom, I walked down the paint aisle to find a large display filled with paint testers and colour testers, with all sorts of colours you can think of. I thought, oh, well what colours will go with my brand spanking new vibrant blue paint, called Malibu - I loved the name - and my new white walls. And I naughtily grabbed a handful of yellows, greens, purples and blues.
Returning home I pondered over ideas of what to do with them. I wasn't using them for the exact purposes, so what else? Well, after browsing blogs for inspiration, I came up with the idea of using them as a jewellery display, to show off my little beauties for all visitors of my home to see. And what a great way to splash some colour here and there throughout my bedroom, to match my new Malibulicious wall,
What do you think? Simple, efficient but eye catching, right? I'm rather pleased with my little self. It's such an easy way to implement colour into any room, in small doses, to compliment the room's main colours. So tell me, how do you display your jewellery?
